Glenelg Hopkins Flood Portal
The Glenelg Hopkins CMA (Catchment Management Authority) Flood Portal was developed to assist landholders in both residential and rural areas of the catchment in seeking advice around whether their property floods during flooding events.

The Glenelg Hopkins CMA Flood Portal is a collaboration between CeRDI and the Glenelg Hopkins CMA. The Glenelg Hopkins CMA Flood Portal brings in the best available flood data for the catchment and makes it directly available to the public to access.
Glenelg Hopkins CMA is the Floodplain Management Authority for South West Victoria - see https://www.ghcma.vic.gov.au/our-region 
. The CMA provides advice on riverine and coastal storm tide flooding only. Enquiries regarding flooding from local drainage systems should be directed to your local council.
Background
The portal uses the best available regional flood data to generate reports based on:
- Street address
- Property selection mode
- User defined area mode
- Direct query mode (point and shoot)
Outcomes
Flood Depth Map - This map shows the estimated depth of flooding in the event of a 1% AEP (1 in 100 yr ARI) flood as it relates to the highlighted property and factors in the influence of a minimum of 0.8 metres of sea level rise where relevant.
