In October 2009 the Centre for eCommerce and Communications' Programmer, Paul Feely attended ZendCon - The PHP Conference in San Jose, California.

Zendcon is the world's largest gathering of PHP experts and is a premier event for technical education and networking. The conference attracts developers, IT executives and managers, and PHP users at all levels. This year's conference was co-presented by Zend and S&S Media.

Through an intensive four-day program the Centre for eCommerce and Communications' knowledge was improved in relation to best practices in PHP and MySQL security, performance and development.

As a result the Centre for eCommerce and Communications will continue to develop up-to-the-minute innovative solutions, as well as ensure the security, stability and performance of all existing services.
