Australian Tourism Accreditation Program nearing launch

Australian Tourism Accreditation Program

Implementation activities for the Australian Tourism Accreditation Program, a national web-based accreditation program for operators in the tourism sector, are well underway.

The delivered services are being based on those successfully piloted through the Centre for Regional Innovation and Competitiveness (CRIC) Building Better Business Online project.

National Working Group

Working Group members for the Australian Tourism Accrediation Program are located in various states across Australia.  They include:

  • Sally Hollis, Tourism Council Western Australia Ltd, ATAP Project Manager
  • Ian Nicolson, Secretary, Tourism Accreditation Board of Victoria Inc
  • Ward Tilbrook, Accreditation Manager South Australia, SA Tourism Accreditation Board
  • Ian Simmonds, Vice President, Tourism Council Western Australia Ltd

The Project Manager is located in Western Australia.
